About Us

Established in 2007 by Carl Dawson and based in Christchurch, Radiation Protection Services Limited (RadPro) is a privately owned company providing technical services to those whose use of ionising radiation is subject to New Zealand's Radiation Safety Act 2016 and Radiation Safety Regulations 2016.

Carl and his staff were an integral part of the operations of the former National Radiation Laboratory for a period spanning more than 12 years, and through another company owned and operated by Carl, provided information technology services and laboratory personnel in support of NRL's regulatory and operational activities.

Radiation Protection Services Limited is incorporated under the Companies Act 1993 as company number 2064537 and is a Company Associate member of the Australasian College of Physical Scientists & Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM)
